Fetus is an abstract meditation on origin, protection, and becoming. Its rounded, eclosing form resembles both a womb and a protective shell, while the fragmented structure within suggests the fragile emergence out of life and consciousness. The sculpture balances softness with tension – organic curves surrounding a complex inner core – creating a dialogue between vulnerability and formation.
The warm bronze surface and ancient texture give the piece an almost archeological presence, as though it were a relic of memory or creation itself. Rather than depicting a literal figure, Fetus captures the emotional and symbolic essence of birth, transformation, and the unseen processes that shape identity.
